Handling Tips

The Glock 18 is the starting weapon for terrorists; but is not exclusively available to Terrorists, the Counter-Terrorists may purchase this gun as well from the Counter-Strike buy menu. It’s Large clip and rapid rate of fire can hardly make up for it’s weak damage which at times make it seem like you’re shooting a BB or Airsoft gun. Despite the Glock’s poor power, it does have a few advantages. It’s ability to unload a clip of 20 bullets at extremely high accuracy allows skilled players to take out many flanking opponents with a single clip! Even so, a direct head-shot will not kill opponents wearing a helmet, so it is important that you have good aim. When confronted in close combat situations against one player (especially if out-gunned), I strongly recommend using “Burst Fire” mode. This mode will cause the Glock to fire off several rounds at once making 1 direct head-shot deadly against even ‘helmeted’ opponents, guaranteed.
